I made this card just ‘cos I wanted to, can you believe I am not entering a challenge today! That single brain cell has really had itself taxed today.
When I started this card I wanted to use both Willow and Oakley, then just as I had finished colouring both images I dropped the OPEN Versafine ink pad right on top of the image. Well the air was blue (and green and black and purple) I called myself words I didn't know I knew!!! So it was back to the drawing board and I'm sad to say Willow is all on her lonesome here (truth to tell I prefer her on her own on this card - it would have been a tight squeeze fitting Oakley on after I'd added all me flowers and pearls *rolls eyes ever upwards!!*

The ever-present roses and MS branch leaf punch - aren't these chocolate roses just gorge! They were the basis for this card - found the roses then spent hours looking through my papers for a match. They things we do hey!!

I used the beautiful dove on the inside which is one of the accessory stamps. How quick and easy to use - a bit of shading around the dove, a touch of Weathered Wood ink for a light shadow or two and a lightest touch of orange for the beak. I think this is why these stamps are so sensational - they all need the minimal amount of colouring to look fabulous. The sentiment is also from the new release. I even had a practice of the distressing the way Kim does it per her tutorial on the Just Magnolia blog. No-one distresses quite like Kim does – her work is out of this world I am sure you will all agree. Mine is nowhere near perfect but not bad for a first attempt (need loads of practice at this I think before I can call it sussed lol)

Recipe:
Whiff off joy Woman's Delight stamps - on sale from the 14th June
Papers DCWV Wedding stack (forgot I had this - it's been in the back of the cupboard for yonks)
Tools: Nestibilities Labels 4, EK Success Swirl punch, Martha Stewart Branch punch
Embellishments: Lace Dainty Supplies, Pearls, Medium and Small Retro flower punches
I'll be back tomorrow with yet another sneak peek - this time I'm taking a break from wedding cards as it's been 3 on the trot.
Thanks for looking,
Absolutely gorgeous,
