Our Whiff of Joy project this month was to decorate/alter a cookie box and I've made a card to go with the box using MichelleO's fab sketch which is this week's challenge on Spoonful of Sugar challenge blog.

I've coloured Lizzie from Whiff of Joy with Distress Inks and H2O's and used Glamour Dust on the fur for a bit of bling. The
Merry & Bright sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy
The papers are Dashing Designer Series Paper from Stampin Up (now discontinued but I think you may still be able to get it from your demo)
The snowflakes are Punch Bunch and Dovecraft punches and the delish ribbon is from Dainty Supplies.
So, now to the project. I've been looking for something to use has a gift holder for some candles that I have made so when I found this tin of wafers I knew my problem was solved. Don't know what the biscuits taste like, I'm on a diet you know lol!!

Sorry there's no step by steps but it's pretty simple to assemble. I measured the tin and cut the SU paper to fit, applied double sided tape to the tin (much easier than appying it to the paper - this is the voice of experience talking here lol). I punched a border for the top and bottom of the paper using my Martha Stewart Lace Doily punch and attached that to the paper. Once again I applied the DST to the paper and ran the ribbon round.

I stuck the image to the tin with DST, tried foam pads but it was too bulky

I had a bit of bother with the lid as the edges are raised, so I cut 3 shims from cardboard using my round nestibilities to level out the top, stuck a scalloped circle on top to disguise my building efforts and another circle of DP on top. All finished off with a poinsettia. And there you have it, the perfect holder for your decorated candle (that was last months project of the month). Please go take a look at the
other projects done by the design team - they are fab!!

I also received another award, this one is from
Anne - thanks sweetie xx

I've already passed this one on so if you're reading this and haven't got this award please fill yer boots lol.
Thanks for looking,
Fantabulous idea. This is soooo gorgeous. Who cares what the wafers taste like. Its the ambience that counts. LOL
