Mini Roses from Foamiran Tutorial

Shoo!  It's taken me a while to get my act together but at last I've managed to get a video uploaded on my You Tube Channel showing how I make these little roses using the Peony Flower die set that I designed for Whimsy Stamps (link below)

I have a few more videos planned in the coming weeks using this die set as well as others.

  9. Thank you for the video Bev. Have been watching these Foamiran flowers develop from various crafters over the last few months - even bought some Foamiran but didn't feel ready to progress with it. Your video has inspired me to get going with it so I have ordered the lovely die you designed and as soon as it arrives I will have a go!! Xx

  18. Bev...thank you so much for making this tutorial❣️And I can't wait for more! Please show how you make the small little bud kind in an upcoming video! I didn't see how you heat set the flowers though After you ink them? Mine got quite hard and lost its shape and it went in the trash, so the ink set heating has to be an important step!

  19. Wonderful tutorial Bev! So nice to see how you put them together and the colouring mediums you use. Have you tried any others, like distress inks? Just wondering as I've not got either of those mediums, though the gelatos look fab, so may need to get some! Thanks for the fab video, it really was brilliant to watch you in action. Hugs, Wends xoxo

  20. Bev, you mentioned in the video you'd put links to the items you used, and I don't see any links 😕 Can you please direct me? And can you tell me how/when to set the foamarian flowers that I used oil pastels on?

    1. Not sure what went wrong there Deb. The links were for foamiran in the UK and the die set I used which is Whimsy Stamps in the US https://whimsystamps.com/products/peony-flower-die. Whimsy will also be stocking the foamiran soon too yay!

I use the oil pastels the same way I used the gelatos, colour, apply to heat source then if you're going to stretch and twist do it after heating. Some of the colour will transfer off the foam onto your hands even after heating. HTH :)
