Ice Skating

I’m definitely in Christmas cards mode, and here’s another to add to the pile.  I went with traditional colours, I am trying to use up the piles and piles of paper I have but will never see the bottom of lol

I used mainly pencils to colour this image, relying on copic markers for the skin and boots.

And I used some delicious goodies from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Isn’t that corner from the mixed metal embellishments just sublime?  I tarted it up a bit with a vintage cabochon Copenhagen, and added a snowflake from the metal Christmas embellishments set.  And then I used a magnolia (still my favourite flower), some lilies and open roses (15mm) and finished off with some pearls.

The natural cotton lace is also from WOC.

I finished the card off with a sweet sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Holiday Notables 2 set.
