A lil’ bit vintage

Something different from me today, and OMG I loved making this card!  See, told ya I had my mojo back lol.  I received the new Inkido papers from Dies to Die For yesterday and set to as soon as I had tea out the way.  Less than 1/2 an hour later the card was done, I am loving this no stamping lark lol.  The card is for a very special girl’s birthday this month,

The paper is from the Beautiful Memories collection, even the darling image is from the papers. So, so pretty.  The lace is also from Dies to Die For, I am waiting for the correct link from Tracy so will update this post as soon as I get it.  The Die behind the image is Joy! Crafts Cutting and Embossing - Square Frame.

The 20mm diamante spacer and 14mm pearl flatback that I have popped in the centre of the bow is from The Ribbon Girl.

I made the pearl swirly flourish thingy by using pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts (yep I went a bit OTT on the pearls lol).  The seam binding and flowers are also from WOC – flowers are trellis rose, 20mm rose, 15mm roses and 10mm roses.  I also used a metal bead cap and a Flat Back Pearl in the centre to make up another flowers.  FYI I use Crafters Pick Incredibly Tacky Glue to adhere the pearls to the metal findings as well as to adhere them and the flowers to the card.  Here’s a closer look at me pearly swirly thingy lol

  59. Hi Bev,

    I am finally back to my computer. I have been absent since November with a bad respiratory infection. I am so glad that this is the first place I stopped! This card is beautiful...and no ink???? Even the photo is from the pad of papers? Did I get that right? I love all of the embellishments! I'm still sick, but at least I can read the text now! Not to mention your beautiful card!
