Tony is home and boy is he hard work! Stubborn isn't the word, I swear that man thinks he is Linford Christie out of retirement, he will be wearing that hip out long before it should at this rate lol. He has me run ragged, so much so I did not get a chance to get this week’s candy photographed, so snagged this pic off the internet.

I didn’t get a card done last night, so as promised some candy for you.
Monday, 26 March 2012
I grabbed some time last night to quickly get this card made – it’s been a manic weekend, almost glad to be going to work this morning for a rest. It’s the last of the February release from Whimsy Stamps of Elisabeth Bell’s Cottage Cuties, this one is called Picked Sweet and for the UK girls is in stock at Dies to Die For, and for the rest of the world is available at Whimsy Stamps. Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get them all used, and I just know I will be using them again and again, they are just so stunning. The sentiment is from one of my favourite Whimsy sets – Fanciful Birthday Notables 1
The image has been coloured with Copics and pencils

I decorated the inside to match the front and used bits from the main kit and Lil’ Bits kits for extra embellishment, and apologies for the pants picture, it was early hours this morning that I eventually got round to photographing it and the camera does not like too much white with the lights.
Not sure if I will get a card made tonight, so if I don’t I will have some Elisabeth Bell candy up for grabs
Have a great week (I wish it was already over and I had my hubby back home – I am dreading tomorrow.)

Anyone for some FOG!! It’s like pea soup out there today again, hopefully it will burn off like it did yesterday. We got a TV for Tony – OMW what is it with blokes? It took him forever to decide (the remote had to be just so and I thought I was picky!!!). I had Ben and Amy stopping over last night so did not get this card done till really late but better late than never

It’s candy time again, and this week it’s Paul and Siri from Wild Orchid Crafts turn to sponsor my candy with another of their amazing “Surprise Goodie Bags” of approximately £20 worth of flowers and other goodies from Wild Orchid Crafts. The first winner was delighted with her goody bag so this week’s winner will be in for a treat I’m sure!

Thanks for the fab prize Paul & Siri!!

Get me, I managed to make a card for this week’s Just Magnolia challenge. Anne is our hostess and has challenged us to have more than one fold on our projects. Now I had planned on a major folding exercise then gave that idea up and went with an easel card ….. well it does have two folds lol.
The image is Teddybear Love from Dies to Die For, the paper is also Magnolia, from the new Prince and Princess collection. The fab sentiment is from an Anna Griffin set from QVC. She has been coloured with Copics and pencils
Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000, 0000, R30
Hair: E44, 42, 40, W00 and Black pencil
Dress: R59, 56, 85, 83 and mulberry and black pencils, R83, 81, RV000, RV0000 and pink pencil
Bear: E35, 31, 30, 37, and sepia pencil
Shadow around Tilda is muted turquoise pencil, underneath is Warm Grey 70% and black
The border die is from Crafty Sentiments and is the Scallop border die again, love it! The flowers and seam binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts – I am not sure what the largest rose is or the link so will update it with the correct info as soon as I get it. The smaller roses are 25mm wild roses and 15mm roses and I also used aster daisies.
Oooh and check out that delish silver cord (they also have it in gold) and that dinky little cameo!!! It’s all pearly and shimmery in real life! They come in two sizes, I have used the smaller of the two and adhered some of that silver cord around the edges to “frame” it. I will add the links as soon as they are on the website.
Last pic for now. I really enjoyed making this card – I had a good few hours just playing
Have a totally fabulous weekend, we are going TV shopping (yuk yuk yukky yuk!!) that is so not my idea of fun lol. Also will be getting things ready for my Tony going in to hospital on Tuesday morning for his long awaited surgery. So lots to do but I will be back tomorrow with the weekly candy and this week’s it’s from Wild Orchid Crafts so don’t miss it!

I’ve another sneak peek from Lili of the Valley today. I have finished all my magazine commissions so can spend the next few days concentrating on DT work and new stuff for my blog. I have so many gorgeous stamps (old and new) that are begging to be inked up.
Anyway on to today’s card, the image is Patchwork Present and will be on sale at the NEC today and on the website from the 28th March (if you can wait that long!)
I stocked up on those fab stepper cards from Which Craft UK when I was at the GNPE show at Harrogate last weekend, they are definitely my fave style of card at the moment, I love that I can whip up a card in double quick time using these steppers, and at 70p per card an absolute bargain. There is no way I could hand cut these and get them to come out anywhere near as perfect as the real thing and to be honest I don’t have the time or interest when it’s already done for me – bargain!
Okay so how CUTE is this little bear?!! I coloured it up with Copics and pencils and didn’t blend out the pencil on the fur so it would show some texture.
The papers are Papermania that I picked up last year, love the little dolly print. The guipure lace and flowers – carnation and 15mm roses – are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
That’s all from me today, hopefully I will get a card done for Just Magnolia this week that will actually follow the challenge – unlike last week lol

Thank you all so much for the brilliant feedback and comments left on yesterdays sneak peek card, you’re loving the different design and there are quite a few more different ones in this new release from Lili of the Valley and they are amazing so keep an eye on the Ideas to Inspire blog for daily sneak peeks from the DT.
Today’s card is back to “cute”! This one is called Ride with me. That scooter is just the cutest!! This is another stamp that will be great for so many different cards I think.
I have used Bo Bunny Love Bandit papers and shock horror!! I have actually used more than 3 colours on a card – I tell ya I had the shakes after making this one haha. But I am really pleased with how it turned out so must try and stretch myself more often to break out into the big bright colour combinations.
I have used a Martha Stewart border punch that my sweet friend in the USA sent me, thanks honeybunch xx. The heart die is a Marianne Designs die and I have popped a sentiment from the Love Sentiments in the centre. The satin ribbon and flowers (aster daisies, 25mm wild rose and 10mm roses ) are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
And a close up of the image. Sorry I did not make a note of the colours – my desk was covered with markers and pencils after this colouring session lol.
That’s all from me today, have a good one
Tuesday, 20 March 2012
I teased you last week when I mentioned that there is a new Lili of the Valley release looming, well these go on sale on the 28th March although I think they may very well be at the NEC as well.
So today I have something totally different from LOTV, and I love love love these new images. What a total joy to colour and is perfect for so many different types and styles of card. And for the cute fanatics, don’t despair! We have plenty of those too, so do check out the Ideas to Inspire blog each day for new cards and also the sneak peeks page where we will be updating it each day with all the new cards from the DT
A very quick and simple card, a bit of my beloved gingham, those FAB shaped step cards from Which Craft UK, the new Strawberries image and my fave flowers (Sweetheart blossoms and cherry blossoms) and ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts and job done.
Strawberries: Burgundy, Red, Salmon Pink, Pear Green, Lemon
Colander: Ice Grey 5, 3, 1 and Blue Grey 1
Butterflies: Gold, Yellow and black
I’ll have another sneak peek tomorrow, might just squeeze in a cutie
