Light the way

Thanks for all your good wishes after my fall on Tuesday.  Man was I stiff and sore yesterday, I swear the older you get the worse the ache lol.  Hopefully no lasting damage except it’s triggered off the sciatica again, just what I didn’t need.

My card today (which was done for a magazine commission along with all the other pastel cards I have been posting this past few weeks) features my favourite stamp from this years Christmas stamps from Lili of the ValleyLight the way.

The papers are once again Nitwit Collections – this set is Lil Mittens if I remember correctly.  The sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley.  The fab snowflake border is a Martha Stewart punch that was a HSN TSV that my lovely friend in the USA sent me last year – loves ya millions sweetie xxx

The image was stamped on Langton 300gsm HP watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid CraftsClassic Sweet Rose, 25mm wild roses and sweetheart blossoms.

All for now, back tomorrow with a card for the Just Magnolia Challenge.

hugs

  37. Glad you've no lasting damage from your fall...channelling Bev, I fell over yesterday (no box, just fell over !?!) and I agree completely; falling over when you're "older" is a) more startling and b) harder to recover from (remember when you were about six and you'd fall over a hundred times while playing, it NEVER bothered you, lol) Love this card, such a sweet image, TFS Donna
