Anything Goes at Just Magnolia

I managed to get a card done for this week’s Just Magnolia challenge, the first card I have made in days!  Not sure if it’s the fact that I am once again in love with Magnolia images (we had a falling out for AGES but I love these newest ones) or if it was the fab challenge our Pops set to add the option of fabric to the challenge.  I ordered this burlap fabric from the USA a few weeks back and it arrived last weekend so it was providence I think lol.  Anyhoo, I totally loved making this card.

I started off following a sketch from a challenge then got lost in it (as I do!).  Most of it is there except I moved the position of the sentiment.

Dancing with the stars Tilda was coloured with Copics and pencils.

The gorge papers are Pion DesignSilent Night (gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!)

The fabric as I said before is burlap – I used this to make the poinsettia flower and therein lies another story …. cut too finely and the flower drops to bits because of the loose weave.  There was a few choice words over this flower I can tell ya lol.  I edged the petals with Stickles.  The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the pearls and brads.

The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

That’s it from me, have a fabulous weekend.
