I’ve gone back to traditional colours for todays card, just couldn’t help myself, the stamp Christmas Angel - Oval Bauble is another from the new Lili of the Valley release. The sentiment is from the Grunge Christmas Postmarks set
The papers are from a few years back – Kaiserkraft and the little postage stamps were from the same papers.
Copics and pencils came out again, I just don’t think that Distress inks can cut the traditional colours – way too wishy washy for my taste, perfect for pastels yes …… but Copics all the way for these rich colours.
The satin ribbon, trellis rose, poppies, hip rose buds and 15mm roses are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, the little bells are from Hobbycraft I think – had them for donkeys. I’ve applied Diamond Stickles to the flowers, I love the gold tone this gives.
That’s it for today, I am off craft shopping with me bezzie then back to watch even more of the Olympics. What a FAB week off I am having ![]()

This is lovely, I love the rich colours! I agree with you; Copics are hard to beat for "strong" colours, I'm "fiddling" with Prisamcolors but they don't give the depth I like, well that is to say I can't get the depth I like... the fault no doubt is mine :-) I love the cute image you've used and LOVE the poppies(?) in the flower arrangement, TFS, Donna
