We had sunshine today (okay and a bit rain too) AND Ashley & Pudsey won BGT whoop whoop whoop! I was thrilled to bits for them, seeing a young lass devote her life to her doggie was so humbling and is a shining example to all youngsters.
This stamp – A little bit of country - has been sat on my desk for weeks waiting patiently to be inked up so yesterday I had a play. I had intended colouring it up with my distress inks but halfway though gave up and went back to the Copics and pencils. Not too sure I like the wishy washy look of distress inks any more, I think I need a lot more practice.
The paper was in my scraps box, no idea of the make though. I used small organza rose trim along the bottom of the card and ran a piece of flatback ivory pearl string along the side. All my embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts (as always) and the other embellies used are metal corner, filigree antique gold butterfly (painted white) and on sale at the moment, Cottage Rose, 20mm roses, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, cosmos daisies, 8mm semi open roses.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, I’m going to have another go at those distress inks lol
