At last a non scheduled post lol. I’m home after an amazing time in California, made so many new friends and was so lucky to at last meet some that I have known via the internet. I have never laughed so much in my life!! I shared a room with Michelle Oatman and you would think we had been friends for years we got along so well. That girl is a scream. And talking of screams Jacque is the funniest lady on this planet! And my fellow Stampavie teamies that I met for the first time … the gorgeous Barbara and Jing, and not to forget Stuart and Heidi who made it all possible (thank you soooo much once again). And Suzan and Mike (who took us around LA in their motor home to all the craft shops and also to Disneyland), amazing people!! And last but definitely not least our Rudi (Barbara’s husband) – a totally charming man (even though he was not too impressed with Bud Light rofl).
And I got to meet the lovely peeps from Simon Says Stamp – after working with them for so many years it was brilliant to meet up with Heidi and Steph at last.
So, some piccies of my jollies.
The view from our balcony
Stuart and Rudi building the booth 2 days before the show started
The booth taking shape, what a marathon undertaking but so worth it – Stuart, Heidi and Michelle
Stuart and Barbara from the Stampavie DT (love this girlie!)
Me, Jing (Stampavie DT), Michelle (Stampavie DT), Heidi (the boss) and Barbara (Stampavie DT) showing off our posh Stampavie aprons
Suzan and Jacque (left side of pic), Mindy (right) at a flower making class with all the Magnolialicious girls – not much flower making got donw … we couldn’t see for crying with laughter lol. And I won’t go into what happened when I went out with the Magnolialicious girls for a night out (safe to say Diana boogied on down rofl)
One of the displays, the bead work on this dress was phenominal
S-a-woooooon, Jing, Tim Holtz and me. What a charmer he is!!
And last but not least THE Distress Markers (already got mine on order)!! I was stood with my legs crossed because there was a Tena alert on I was so excited to get my hands on the Distress Markers ha ha ha.
Inside the motor home with Suzan, Jacque, Michelle and Suzan’s doggie Woody
