Hello and welcome to Day 7 of our February Rubber Die Release Showcase!On Wednesday (22 February) Whimsy Stamps released this month's rubber designs and new Shapeology dies. From then until 28 February the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new stamps and dies with a daily mini blog hop. Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw. All winners will be announced on the Whimsy Inspirations blog on 29 February.
For my card today I have used the oh so sweet Easter Bunny by Sylvia Zet, isn’t he just a little poppet!
The gorgeous paper is First Edition Spring Drop. And I have teamed it with my favourite buttery yellow card stock and yellow silk ribbon (from Wild Orchid Crafts). The Chrysanthemum, daffodils, sweetheart blossoms and pearls are also from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from the Fanciful Birthday Notables set from the new release. For the UK girls you can get these stamps now at Dies to Die For, for everyone else they are in stock at Whimsy Stamps.
He has been coloured with Copics and pencils:
Bunny C3, 1, 0, 00 and black pencil; R20, R30
Chick: Y35, 32, YR30 and yellow ochre pencil
Egg: R83, 81, RV000, 0000 and Tuscan Red pencil; BG13, 11, 10 and muted turquoise pencil
Bench: E29, 23, 50 and dark umber pencil
Grass: YG63, 61 and G20 with a touch of Olive pencil to soften the look. The amazing Dena manages to get this soft look to perfection, I wish I could be half as good!
