The gorge papers are Maja Design Old Fashioned Christmas.  The flowers and organza ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and I popped one of the pine cones that I made from the Tim Holtz Tattered Pine Cone die.  All liberally doused in white acrylic paint and diamond Stickles.  The flowers used are trellis rose, carnation, 15mm roses, 8mm semi open roses

Sarah Kay

Whenever my mojo goes walkabout a Sarah Kay stamp always helps me find it and this past few days the old mojo didn’t only go walkabout, it got totally lost!  I had to force myself to sit down yesterday to get some DT work done but just could not find it in me so I decided to dig out my Sarah Kays and have a little play.  I set out to colour the image with only Prismacolor pencils but reached for the Copics as well, I must be pre-programmed to reach for them lol.

bev-rochester-sarah-kay-zoe-gazing-at-butterfly

I stamped Zoe gazing at the butterfly on Kraft coloured card and used the following colours:

Skin: E11, 00, 000, R20
Hair & basket : E39, 35, 30 and dark umber pencil
Aqua: BG13, 11, 10 and muted turquoise pencil
Red: R29, 24, 22 and tuscan red pencil
Grass: YG67, 63, 61 and olive green pencil

The little clouds are a Memory Box Puffy Clouds die, the little die cut flowers are a Doo Hickey Hellebores die, the Ivy leaves are a Marianne Design die that will be on sale in January and the beautiful paper is Basic Grey Picadilly.  The seam binding and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I used 25mm wild roses, 8mm semi open roses, 15mm roses, 20mm roses.  And the gorge border punch is one of the new Martha Stewart PATP sets that a lovely friend in the US sent me xxxx

I sure hope I can get some motivation to do some work today … doubt it though lol.

hugs

Simon Says Stamp winner and stuff

Did you all have a good Christmas?  Ours was fab – time spent with wonderful friends and family, lots of laughs and fun.  It is amazing to see the day through the eyes of a child.

My granddaughter Amy is Lady Gaga crazy and even calls herself of Amy Gaga.  Well she wanted blue hair and a big pink bow like Lady Gaga and that’s what Santa brought her lol.

Amy Gaga

And if I can get myself motivated I might get a card on sometime – I am so in the kick back and chill mode right now and loving it.  In the meantime I need to announce a winner for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Saturday Surprise.  And the lucky lady is

102.  Maryann

Congratulations Maryann, please email me your address, and please put Vintage Tilda in the subject line.
