A step card

Well, I am running out of cards to post … fast!  Only got a couple left that are from magazine commissions then I will have to get my skates on.  I have 3 commissions I am working on at the mo (one to go in the mail tomorrow eeek!) one to be posted by the 3rd and one by the 10th and in-between that I have the NEC.  I love living life in the fast lane lol.

So, because today’s card is a magazine card it’s a different one to my usual cutey style but one I really liked once I had finished it.  The stamp is buried in a box somewhere so I have no idea who it is made by but it was from The Glitter Pot.  The gorgeous papers are from Nitwit Collections, what would I do without them??

I made a quick and easy step card as I thought the style worked well with the long shape of the stamp.  The little poinsettias are from a Marianne Design Poinsettia LR0121 die set from Dies to Die For.

Right it’s back to the grindstone for me for the rest of the day (I wonder if the house will figure out it needs to do it’s own housework cuz else it’s not going to get done this week rofl).

I have had this stamp tucked away and not used it for years. I think I found it quite a difficult shape to work with being long and thin. I shall now go and rummage until I find it and try with the stepper card. Thanks for changing my way of thinking Bev!!

  6. Fab card Bev. Above all make sure you get some 'me' time for yourself and your family. That is what must come first. Card making must always be an enjoyment, not a chore. Life gets stressful so ensure you balance the mix.

  26. Love the card and BTW the stamp is from Creative Expressions, stamp no. LL21H, there are no other markings on the stamp. I love the card, as always, soooo inspirational. Keep in mind, dust is a protective layer for furniture, disturb at your peril. Where do you find the time to do everything? Take a breath, hugz, Janice

Looking forward to seeing you for the first time when I visit the NEC.
