And happy I am! Our Maddi is slowly on the mend, still not eating very much (okay practically nothing!) but is so much brighter today. The waggy tail is BACK!! She goes for her last Alizin injection tomorrow and hopefully this treatment will allow the vet to delay the spay for a couple of months till she is well and stronger. I LOVE my vet, sadly he retired on Friday (totally gutted – not so happy there!).
The furniture arrived for my craft room yesterday and it was major activity down there (till one of the sliding door rails fell on Tony, split his head open and left him seeing stars, poor bloke didn’t now what had hit him). He came over all faint when I said I thought it needed stitches, funny how he was fine till then lol. Needless to say he won that battle and is walking round with a plaster on the side of his head (an inch to the left and he could have lost his eye!!).
And happy is also for my card, it’s another magazine one because yesterday was spent helping … ahem supervising …. in my new craft room and am I heading back down there shortly to carry on. I may even get some stash shifted down there today whoop whoop!
It’s another of the cards I did for a Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. I had to make a set of 5, one had to have a matching gift tag so I thought I would carry the pennant theme through on to the gift tag. The stamp is Emma Swing from Lili of the Valley, the sentiment is also LOTV. The paper is Echo Park Springtime from Dies to Die For. The blooms from Wild Orchid Crafts were airbrushed to match the deep pink in the paper and buttons. The pennants were just bits of paper that I chopped into triangles then matted on to pink card. The letters are a Quickutz alphabet.
Right I am away to go and supervise (interfere lol). Have a fabulous Sunday.
