It’s Eyes Down at Lili of the Valley challenge this week, our theme is to play a bit of bingo! I went with the easy option, the diagonal line of gems/flowers/ribbons and or lace.
I used gorgeous Nitwit Collections papers – Crab Apple Lane. I love this kit, crammed full of delish rich colours. I made a ribbon rosette to set off the cream 25mm wild rose and added some 15mm roses to pick up the red in the paper. The seam binding and guipure lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the gorge flowers.
The image is Daisy Chain by Lili of the Valley and was coloured with Promarkers and Prismacolors for a commission in Simply Cards and Papercrafts magazine. The sentiment was computer generated (the commission was themed around children’s birthdays)
My craft room is almost complete, just the finishing touches now which take the longest like the last bits of skirting, finding place for stuff that I forgot I had and really don’t have the place or need for lol. Now I need to sort out the rest of the house. You do one room and the entire house ends up in total chaos. We spent all day yesterday and almost till midnight last night clearing out the last of the stuff from the back bedroom that was my craft room and reorganising and finding place for all the stuff that came out of the garage that had been put in the lounge, the dining room, the spare bedroom, the landing, the shed …… (you get my drift lol) so now everything is neat and tidy again. I hate living in a builders yard. OMG and now him indoors wants to start decorating the bedrooms. He is going to drive me NUTZ but the house will be gorge when it’s all done …… eventually lol.
I will post some pics of my new craft room as soon as the last bits are done.
