A Christmas Card

Eeek, I think this is the first time I have missed a Just Magnolia challenge (well gutted lol), but the time has just run away from me this week with worrying about and caring for Maddison (who is starting to improve slowly now).  There have been a few changes to Just Magnolia this week too – we have four new amazing DT members, and have split the DT into two teams so we only have to post every other week.  We have all got so much going on that we were sinking under all the DT work so this will be a lovely break for us all.  We will still be having our regular GDT spots so if you fancy being a GDT for us all you need to do is enter our challenges and it could be you!!

So, no JM card today – a Penny Black instead.  Goodness it must be a couple of years since I last inked up a PB stamp and they used to be my favourites.  How bad am I!!

The papers are from that gorgeous Joyful Hearts digi kit from Nitwit Collections, this has to be my most used digi kit, I don’t think I will ever tire of it.  The icicles have been punched with a Martha Stewart punch and the poinsettia is a Marianne Designs Creatable die that has had the old Stickles Treatment.  The image was coloured with promarkers, flexmarkers and lots of Prismacolor pencils to get the rich depth of colour that I wanted to help the image pop.  The sentiment and “25” are from a Paula Pasqual clear stamp set from Personal Impressions that I got last year.  The rhinestones and gorge organza ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Have a fabulous weekend.  I have some candy coming to celebrate my 4000+ followers!  Gulp, I nearly fell off my chair when Paul from Go Kreate emailed me to offer some candy for this occasion, I didn’t even realise it had passed the 4000 mark lol.  Soooo, keep yer eyes peeled girlies, knowing those lovely peeps at Go Kreate the candy will be rather yummy, and I will be adding to it with some of my crafty stash as well :)

hugs
