I had a lovely afternoon yesterday taking a class at Papercuts, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and all went home with some fab Criss Cross cards. Next week I’m taking another class so today I need to knuckle down and get the samples made. We’re stamping on candles and making a matching box. Loads of cutting and measuring for the girlies lol.
I’ve got loads of cards made but not many that I can show on my blog yet. However these two cards were made for the latest Stampavie magazine. They go out every couple of months and are free to receive so all you need to do is pop across to the website and sign up to receive it. I used Gillian Robert’s Teenage Love and also Sarah Kay’s Fleur gathering flowers with Manon.
The papers used on the Teenage Love card are First Edition Sweet Owl. Love the pinks and browns in this pad. The flowers – 20mm rose, 15mm roses, sweetheart blossoms and seam binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts
The papers used on the Sarah Kay card are Nitwit Collections. The lace and pearl ribbon slider are from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the 15mmm roses and poppies. The sentiment stamp is Lili of the Valley Clear Additions and the shaped stepper card is from Which Craft UK.
Stay dry! We had floods up here yesterday, the Coast Road was flooded and the traffic was backed up for miles, took me ages to get home (cuz clever clogs here thought it would be quicker to do the detour rather than wait in the queue, NOT a good idea lol).
