The challenge this time round at Wild Orchid Challenge is Embossed Layers. Either dry or heat embossing (or both) and at least 3 layers on your project. I finally got round to using this AMAZING digi image from Sugar Nellie, OMW isn’t she just stunning!
I have gone with 3 layers of papers with one of the layers dry embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. There is also embossing on the nesties and the ribbon banners die set that I got from Charmed Cards and Crafts. I have been trying to get my hands on this set of dies for ages, thanks for coming to my rescue Karen, and a brilliant price too hun xxx
I spent quite a while colouring her in, and loved every moment of it. Not many colours used either -
Hair: E53, E51, E50
Skin: E21, E00, E000, E0000, R20, R30
Dress: R20, R30, R000, R0000
And quite a lot of pencil shading using both Prismacolors and Polychromos (love the pinks in the Polychromos, far far nicer than the Prismas I think)
The stunning papers are from Raspberry Road, I had a lot of their kits but must admit to now owning loads and loads after their sale last weekend (well they were half price lol)
Gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
And a peek at the inside for all those that email and ask what the insides of my cards look like – they are pretty much a copy of the front without the raised embellies.
I hope you will get a chance to join in with this weeks challenge, we have two prizes up for grabs, the usual chock-full prize of floral deliciousness from Wild Orchid Crafts and then we have a new sponsor on board, Love to Stamp.
I’ve listed this card on eBay
