Whimsy Stamps Holiday release blog hop

Today is Whimsy Stamps Blog hop day to celebrate the launch of their new Holiday stamps by Crissy Armstrong and Ann Vento. All the DT has been posting sneak peeks since Wednesday and today you can see them all, just check them out in the store

The blog hop starts here so you’re in the right place if you’re just starting the hop.

I decided to showcase a stamp from the Whimsy Vintage Christmas – I adore this set and although it is so very different from my usual style I know I will be getting a lot of use out of this set. I’ve made two cards using the poinsettia and two sentiments. First up is a traditional card (I think, even with the black).

whimsy-vintage-poinsettia

I love this Basic Grey Jovial pad!! So not my usual colours but soooo yummy. The image has been coloured with copics.

Next up is a non-traditional card, loving the peachiness lol.

I heat embossed the image and sentiment with Gold Fine Detail embossing powder then coloured with Copics. The copics did not like the embossing very much so I had to be real careful to avoid colouring over the embossing. Love this effect.

The next stop on the hop is Vanja. Make sure you follow the hop as there are some fab prizes along the way PLUS a grand prize of all 9 stamps.

The hop will run through Thursday 7th October 12 noon EST. Have fun and good luck!

Thanks for stopping by,

I love how you used the white cardstock on the first card. Great accent that makes it stand out. On the second, those are not my normal colors either and you did a wonderful job.
