Just Magnolia Challenge and an oh dear! moment

Oh I had a right Oh Dear! moment yesterday.  I had more than a blonde moment, I had a blonde week!!!  The challenge at Just Magnolia this week is 2 x 2 – so 2 papers, 2 ribbons, 2 buttons, etc.  Well I started off great, got the 2 papers, 2 ribbons and even 2 sentiments then totally lost the plot!  I realised after the glue had dried on the flowers – yes flowerSSSSSS that I had gone off on one and forgotten to stick to the 2 x 2 rule.  Well there was NO WAY I was going to get another card made soooooo ……..I went for multiples of 2 rofl. Well I did use 2 types of flowers – roses and poppies lol. I was short a 15mm and 10 mm rose so and to add these (hence the one solitary one stuck on the bottom of the easel card and one blobbed on the sentiment *rolls eyes*!!!  Well, rules were meant to be broken rofl.  I tell ya, a plank has more brains than I do.

Will I list the flowers I used??? Dare I???  They are 10mm roses, 15mm roses, 5mm rosebuds, poppies, and 25mm wild roses.

The round sentiment is from Catslife Press, I ordered them direct from the US because they were forever sold out at the UK stockist.  The other sentiment is from a £4.99 Personal Impressions set (I love these sets, they are fantastic value for money).

The papers are Melissa Frances – there are 2 papers on both parts of the easel card only you can’t really see it on the main part of the card cuz I covered it up with a floral explosion (as you do lol)

I don’t have the Copic colours I used as in my panic to save the card I lost the bit of paper I wrote them down on.  I know I used E55, 53, 51 and 50 for the hair and R83, 81 and RV10 for the dress and went over this with a black prisma pencil.  I think I used E37, 31 and 50 for the basket and R39 and 32 for the cherries.

Now I am going to lie down in a dark room to get over the trauma this flipping card has caused lol.

Thanks for stopping by,
