Lili of the Valley and Cute Card Thursday challenges and another sneak peek

Boy the weeks sure are whizzing by aren’t they!  It’s Lili of the Valley challenge day today and also I am Cute Card Thursday challenge’s GDT for September.  The theme for LOTV challenge is one for the boys and CCT challenge is a play on words so I managed to combine both challenges with this card.  Not sure on the “play on words” bit, but this was as good as my single brain cell could come up with lol.

The papers are MME Stomp, full of glitter and totally gorgeous colours.  I have coloured Football Crazy with Copics.  Colours used are
Hair:  E53, E51, E50
Skin:  E21, E00, E000, R20
Top and socks:  BG72, BG11, BG10
Shorts: G24, G21, G20
Footie boots: C9, C5, C3, C0
Grass:  YG99, G24, G20

I stamped the ball again and popped it up on sticky fixers to add a bit of dimension.  The sentiment is computer generated (if I can remember what font I used I’ll edit the post and add it here).  The raffia ribbon is from Hobbycraft.  It started life originally as ecru but a few swipes with a tea dye distress ink pad changed the colour to match the brown paper perfectly.

Next up today is another Adorables sneak peek.  This stamp set is called Caring, so so sweet.  Gotta love those lil antlers on the little laddies head bless.

The paper is from the accompanying CD.  The sentiment and the little snowflakes that I have stamped around the image (and glittered with a Quickie Glue Pen and some Glamour Dust) are all from the same set.

I applied Liquid Appliqué to the fur bits on their clothes then blinged it up with some Glamour Dust.  The 15mm roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, as is the lace.

I coloured the image with Promarkers but can’t remember the colours I used and if you could see my craft room you would understand why I would never in a million years find the bit of paper – when I come in here I am afraid ….. very very afraid lol.

Another saga from me today, thanks so much for stopping by. xxx

Thanks for stopping by,
