Lili of the Valley Challenge and Release Day

Woohoo, it’s release day for the new Animals Christmas and Back to School stamps at Lili of the Valley.  If you’ve been keeping an eye on the Ideas to Inspire blog and the DT’s blogs you will have seen lots of sneak peeks to tempt you lol.  I wouldn’t hang about, I am sure these will sell out as fast as the Nativity release did a few weeks back.

The challenge this week at Lili of the Valley Challenge is another of my sketches.  I apologise now for the card – my mind was so not on crafting this week.

I just love these sweet little bears, what a joy they are to colour.  This little cutie is called Jenny the Bear – All shopped out.  The papers are last year’s My Minds Eye (might even be from the year before lol).  The large snowflake is a Marianne D die Swedish Ice Star – isn’t it gorgeous!  The smaller snowflakes are Martha Stewart and Woodware punches.  The image was coloured with Copics and Prisma Pencils:

Bear:  E53, E51, E50 and brown pencil
Reds: R29, R25, R22 and Tuscan Red pencil
Blues: B01, B00, B000, B0000 and turquoise pencil
Greens: G82, G40 and olive pencil

I have another card to share using another of the new bears.  This little poppet is called James the Bear – in the Snow, and I used the sketch from Papertake Weekly, love Dawny P’s sketches.

I got these new Papermania papers from Cutting Edge Crafts this week, oh they are sublime!  I am going to use these loads this year for sure.  The snowflakes are Martha Stewart and Woodware punches, the pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is a Studio G one.

The image was coloured with copics and Prisma pencils:

Bear:  E53, E51, E50 and brown pencil
Blues: BG 05, BG02, BG00, BG000 and turquoise and black pencils

A Tony update – he started on the tests yesterday, the heart scan has shown no cardiac disease thank goodness.  We won’t get the other results for a few more days yet.  Poor soul came home wired up to a heart monitor and is grumbling cos he has to bath instead of showering so he don’t get the pads and machine wet.  He must be starting to feel better if he’s grumbling lol.

I have a few more LOTV cards to share over the next few days, the cards are all made up, just need to try and get the images coloured.

Thanks for stopping by,

As for your mind not being on crafting this week I'm not surprised, in fact I can't beleive you have managed to make any at all. I was so pleased to hear that Tony has no heart diease, it must be such a huge releif to you both. And as for his moaning, moaning is good Bev, as long as he doesn't make a habit of it lol.
