Kenny K Challenge - summertime

I’m sorry I not been around for a few days, my hubby took ill on Friday and landed up in intensive coronary care on Friday night. I have never been so petrified in all my life. And because of his asthma and COPD it took a lot longer to stabilise him but thank God he is on the road to recovery. He’s along way to go with tests, scans etc to find out what caused it but I am just so thankful he’s okay.

So, my post is late for the Kenny K Challenge but here it is – in all its pink glory lol. The challenge is “in the summertime” so anything that reminds you of summer – colours, song, hobbies, anything. So my take is the rock chick on her way to a music festival (think of all that mud lol) and the bunting which says summer to me. My card also qualifies for this weeks Fussy and Fancy challenge which is pink and black

kennyk-rock-chick

I have used Rock Chick and coloured her with Copics:
Skin: E21, E01, E00, E000, R20
Hair, trainers and jeans: C9, C7, C5, C3, C1, C0
Top, gloves, guitar and trainers: R81, R81, R83

kennyk-rock-chick2

The gorge punched border is one of the new Martha Stewart punches that were the QVC TSV a couple of weeks back (there were two sets on offer and I had to have both, I am a MS Punchaholic!!)

kennyk-rock-chick1

The paper is BoBunny, the flowers are Prima and Crafts U Love (I think), and the swirl punch is by EK Success. The centres of the flowers are buttons from The Hobby House.

That’s all from me today, I am off to ask my hubby if he is feeling okay again, he is going to be so sick of me checking up on him.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend,

hugs
