Just Magnolia Challenge

We have another fab sketch by Dawny P for this week’s Just Magnolia Challenge, and we’reare being sponsored by Quixotic Paperie.

sketch

Ooooh yes, another easel card lol.

The gorgeous papers are Gossamer by Memory Box, they are so so pretty.  Mmmm pink and green, haven’t done this combo for ages.

The lace borders are die cut using a Spellbinders Grand Lace 12” die, and I have popped a little rhinestone on each embossed triangle.  I also popped a little rhinestone on each scallop on the umbrella

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts natch, and are Classic Sweet Rose, 20mm roses, 15mm roses, cherry blossoms, 8mm semi open roses, 4mm rose buds and stamens.

The sentiment on the front of the card is from a Personal Impressions set and the large sentiment is another from that grab bag I picked up off Ebay – there were some truly fabulous sentiments in that bag (me loves a bargain lol)

The lacy dragonflies are another of my new Doo Hickey Dies – I so hope they are planning on some lacy snowflakes – oh they would be simply stunning!!  Let’s hope if they do they release them in time for us to use them on this Christmas's cards lol.

The image was coloured with my beloved Copics and Prismacolor Pencils and I used:

Skin: E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E18, E15, E11, E50 and black pencil
Umbrella & Dungarees:  R85, R83, R81, RV10, E17 and black pencil
Top and shoes: BG11, BG10, BG000  and black pencil
Shadow: W3, W1, W00

Thanks for stopping by,

  35. Ooh, another stunning card, Bev- and in my favourite colour again. Just love her little parasol and she's coloured so beautifully, too. Love how you've used the Lace border, will have to snag that idea if you don't mind - it looks fabulous. Wish I could dwell in your mind for a wee while to find out where all your inspiration comes from ;)
