Lili of the Valley Challenge and another Christmas sneak peek

Did you know that Lili of the Valley are releasing over 40 Christmas designs in the next couple of months including some gorgeous Kids Nativity stamps which you won’t be able to resist, loads of traditional Christmas characters and scenes which are just so cute, plus Polar Bears, Pups and Penguins and more of their fantastic Bear, now called James!

The first set of 15-20 designs are released next Wednesday 14th July so look out for sneak peaks and beautiful cards on all the LOTV Design Team’s Blogs!

LOTV are offering two brand new Christmas stamps of your choice to the winner of this Challenge.

We have a fab sketch designed by Dawny P for Lili of the Valley Challenge this week, loved working with it.  I had made my card weeks ago (so organised for a change!) so I have whipped up another sneak peek card with a very simple and basic layout.

First up my challenge card, and I have used Glamorous Gardening (love those shoes 5 sizes too big lol).

The sentiment is a Paula Pasqual set that I got off QVC.  The paper is Melissa Frances and I only have an itty bitty piece left sob.  I think I coloured the image with distress inks but can’t be sure as it was so long ago.

Once again the gorge flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts30mm wild rose, 15mm roses and gypsophila.

My sneak peek is using another of the stamps off the Merry Christmas Stamp Sheet (so not much of a sneak peek lol).  This image is called Carol Singing and I’ve coloured it with Copics (still not liking the red, I so need to practice more).

The poinsettias have been attacked with the old Twinklets from Simon Says Stamp again – I love this stuff and glamour dust/stickles on the fur trims.  The Joy charm, brads and spacers are from my stash.  The paper was from my scrap box and doesn’t have a name on.  Darn shame as I love it.

Right, I’m headed off to work now yuk!  But just tomorrow then I am off for a fortnight – oh the bliss lol.
