TGIF!! What a week!! When I walked back into the office on Friday from two weeks off work I walked into two weeks work that had not been touched so had to catch that all up as well as do my normal day to day work - I so NEED a lottery win lol.
Anyhoo, it's Just Magnolia day again and seeing as I am well in to the Christmas card frenzy I've made a Christmas card and no surprises - it's another easel card. It's my sketch we're working to this week, another nice and simple one, just like me lol.
I have used last year's Magnolia Christmas papers on this card, I love the touch of beige mixed in with the aqua. I've used Unwrapped Tilda - she was my favourite of all last years Magnolia Christmas stamps.
I have coloured the image with Copics and the colours used are:
Skin: E21, E01, E00, E000
Clothes: BG93, BG13, BG11, BG10, E31, E30
Hair: E55, E53, E51, E50
Present: E35, E33, E31 E51, E50
Shadow: W3, W1, W0
I used the gorgeous Guipure lace from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the beautiful flowers 15mm roses and 30mm Wild Rose which I popped on top of punched (Martha Stewart) snowflakes that I coated with Stardust Stickles.
The sentiment stamp is also from Magnolia (again last year's Xmas stamps.

I think I'm being encouraged to try matting like colour onto like (if that makes sense) - haven't thought about it before but it's just hitting me between the eyes (you & Donalda between you) how soft an effect it gives.
