Just Magnolia Special Monthly Challenge - Fold It!

It's the beginning of the month (already!!  again!!) and it's time for our  Just Magnolia Special Monthly Challenge.  We don’t have a tutorial for you this month, instead the challenge is Fold It.  To qualify for the fabulous $25 voucher from Simon Says Stamp all you need to do is have a minimum of 2 folds on your project and use a Magnolia image.  Nice and easy this month.

I have made a gate-fold card – wow it’s ages and ages since I made one of these.  I’ve set the folds off centre for something a bit different.  I have used the gorgeous Princess Tilda that I got (along with another 15 lol) at the NEC last weekend.  She is for sure my all time very favourite Magnolia stamp.  She is going to take a lot of beating I think.  It’s such a shame I couldn’t do her justice with the Copics but I don’t have my distress inks yet so had to go with the Copics.  I think I will have to go out on Saturday and buy some reinkers to tide me over till I get my beloved inks back.

I have used papers from the DCWV Sweet glitter stack.  I’ve stamped some Magnolia roses and edged with Stickles for the inside of the card.  The sentiment is also Magnolia that I picked up at the NEC last weekend.

The gorgeous flowers are from – as always – Wild Orchid Crafts.  I might have gone OTT with the flowers but I just can’t help myself lol.  I go into a trance when I am working with their flowers lol.  I’ve machine stitched around the edges in keeping with the papers.

Last one!  Sheesh I went overboard with the photo’s as well as the flowers lol.  The ribbon is from Mei Flower.  I picked up loads of their organza ribbons at the NEC, the colours are delish and they are the only place I have found that stock the 25mm organza at a really good price.

I hope you will pop across to the JM blog and take a peek (or should that be drool) at the DT’s creations, they are drool-worthy this week!

Karen, this one’s yours if you want it hun x
