Okay, so I am persevering with the Copics (they are sooo hard to use lol - must be 'cos I'm on the dim side). The first attempt went in the bin, so I went and had another look at all the tutorials on You Tube (I think I know them all off by heart now rofl) then had another attempt. This one is a bit better - but still got a loooooong way to go till I am happy with the result, it's the shading that I am really struggling with. I am so used to how easy it is to shade with inks and twinks so the Copics have been a rude awakening to say the least. Thank you Rach, Jacqui and Donalda for all your support and encouragement - you ladies are THE BEST mwah xx
So, here's my effort - don't all laugh at once now ya hear!! I have used the fabulous sketch on Stamp with Fun - love this sketch and will for sure wear this one out with all the use lol. I have used BG Wisteria papers and my new DT stamp from Motivet - how cute is Hilda!! I am also entering this card in A Spoonful of Sugar – Floral Fantasy.
Stamps: Motivet Hilda on innertube and sentiment from a Papermania set
Paper: Basic Grey Wisteria
Tools: Martha Stewart Scallop Dot punch, Spellbinders ribbon tags and circle nestabilities
Embellies: Flowers and Dew Drops from Crafty Feeling Chocolate and vanilla kit (I recoloured the Dew Drops with a Copic pen to change them from green to blue), ribbon - Papermill Shop, Crystal bling flowers from Dainty Supplies
Thanks for stopping by,
