It's week nine already! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun!! This week the challenge is Paper Piecing, and not only do we have a fab prize sponsored by The Hobby House, but the winner also gets to be our Guest Designer for July. Also, although it's taken a few weeks longer than first planned, starting on Tuesday we will be running two extra special challenges on Just Magnolia, the first one being launched bright and early on Tuesday morning - so remember to pop back for the latest news!!
For this weeks card I had a good rummage through my older papers (and there are soooo many of those that lay in the paper racks untouched and unloved :( and I think we all have them!) I fancied something soft and different from what I have been using lately so decided to go with these pretty Karen Neuberger and Lasting Impressions papers (how ancient are these!!) I only had 2 matching papers so made use of the Cuttlebug embossing folders for the 3rd layer. I stamped the image on to the dotty paper and cut out her dress to paper piece.
I love these Simon Says Stamp sentiment stamps, they have the nicest wording and are so useful (they are left permanently on my desk now alongside my Whiff of Joy and Motivet sentiments, poor things are going to get worn out with all the use lol)
Stamps: Tilda from the Spring kit and Simon Says Stamp Sending Sunshine sentiment set
Papers: Karen Neuberger and Lasting impressions
Tools: Cuttlebug, Martha Stewart Lace Doily punch, Mc Gill Floriano punch, McGill Star Flower punch, Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch all from The Hobby House, Stampin Up Slit punch, Martha Stewart Branch Punch
Embellishments: Ribbon from Ribbon Oasis, Button from a huge button bag from The Hobby House (1000's of buttons £5!!!), Swarovski crystals from stash
Thanks for looking,
