I got my new DT kit from Janet of Pink Gem Designs this week and isn't this baby boy just too cute!! The image is such a lovely size too and I thought it would be perfect for the Sketch Saturday challenge this week, although at first I balked when I saw the sketch and wasn't even going to attempt it but there you go, I really enjoyed making this card. The colours are not the usual sort of colours I would use for a baby card but actually I quite like them together.
I've more or less carried the sketch through to the inside of the card.
Stamps: Pink Gem Designs Baby Boy Bundle and Stampin Up Riveting sentiment
Colouring medium: Distress inks - Tattered Rose (skin), Scattered Straw and Dried Marigold (ducks), Fired Brick (hearts). I couldn't get the right blue for the bundle so didn't use distress inks to colour this.
Twinkling H2O's: Sunburst and Mandarin Blush (ducks), Poppy Red (hearts), Blue Ice and Autumn skies mixed (bundle and hat).
Papers: Various freebie downloads
Tools: Nestibilities, Spellbinders alphabet dies, circle punches (SU), medium and small retro flower punches.
Embellishments: Flowers from stash, spacer from The Hobby House , Doodlebug Sugared brad charm from stash
