Musing Melinda for A Spoonful of Sugar
Oh my goodness, have you seen the totally delish sketch over at A Spoonful of Sugar this week, I absolutely loved making this card. Lots of layers, just like I like it lol.
I still had these gorgeous K&Co papers on my desk from the other night (yes I'm a mucky pup) and still don't know what range they are and am starting to panic as I don't have much of the pack left. I haven't used one Prima flower on this card, can you believe it!!! They are all punched, stamped and embossed. I didn't use any brads either as I didn't have any gold pearl ones and the silver just didn't work, so I stuck the pearl to the gold spacer instead.
The inside, not sure if the punching works but hey ho, it's done now.
Stamps - Musing Melinda and sentiment and swirl from the Spring Swirls Collection, all Whiff of Joy.
Colouring medium: Distress Inks - Tattered Rose (skin), Dried Marigold and Walnut Stain (clothes), Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and a touch of Walnut Stain (hair)
Twinkling H2O's - Chestnut Brown, Cinnamon Brown (hair), Gold Dust, Terracotta Rose (clothes), Egyptian Gold (bracelet)
Papers - K & Co
Tools: Nestibilities Labels Three, Large & Medium Retro Punches
Embellishments - Pearls from Sally (link in my sidebar), spacers from stash
