Oh I just love these new Medieval Stamps designed by Alison Acton for Whiff of Joy, they are so easy to colour and are so cute!! They are being released on Saturday 14th February and don't forget Katharina has some fab blog candy up for grabs, so pop on over to her blog and enter. Also, there is a special treat in store for you all on the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog next week, so keep an eye out there too *wink*.
AND, if that's not enough candy for you I have some very special candy that I will be giving away starting this weekend, it's my birthday towards the end of the month and I just want to say thanks so much to all the lovely people that visit my blog and leave such wonderful comments. They mean the world to me. There will be two seperate candies up for grabs - one is mega extra special lol.
Anyway, enough waffling - I made this card last night on the request from a colleague who wanted something different for her hubby - long story but the short of it is he calls her his little dragon so the card is to her Knight in shining armour and the inside says ... from your little dragon lol. I stamped the Knight then realised the dragon was not going to fit on so stamped him separately, cut him out and stuck him on the card with his tail hanging off - I think it looks okay like that. I've done a bit of doodling to fit in with this weeks Spoonful of Sugar Challenge, I've based the card on this weeks Mojo Monday sketch #73 and have used some gold so this qualifies for this weeks My Time to Craft challenge - Going for Gold. Phew!
Whiff of Joy Medieval Dragon and Charlie (released 14th Feb) is coloured with distress inks and twinkling H2O's
The papers are K&Co from a large pack from QVC
The sentiment is computer generated
The gold dots are from Sally (link in side bar) but they were too shiny so I dulled them by running a Krylon gold leaf pen over them. The heart was silver so I embossed that gold.
That's it - a really simple card.
I have also received some more awards, thanks so much for passing them on to me xxx
