Whiff of Joy Challenge and one for A Spoonful of Sugar

Heather has done another wonderful sketch for us this week, really easy to work with too.

I have used Gerda Celebrating Goat from Whiff of Joy's new Party Animals release which I have coloured with Prismacolors and H2O's.

Again, with Gerda I have gone for checked paper - yeehaw lol!! The papers are K & Co, and I have stamped the cream paper with Stampin Up's Canvas background stamp and Antique Linen ink to give it a bit of texture.

I didn't have any copper brads so inked red ones up with Versamark, dipped them in copper embossing powder and heat set them - Bob's your Uncle - copper brads :).

The sentiment stamps are all from a See D's set (can't believe how much I am using them after them lying in a drawer for the better part of 3 years!!)

Looking forward to seeing your creations.

I've done this card for this weeks A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge which is a fab sketch by Nikki. Although I love layers I really enjoyed using this sketch and only needed one sheet of paper. I have so many papers that don't really work with any other patterns so I'm sure this sketch will be worn out by the time I'm finished with it lol.

I coloured the image with distress inks and H2O's. The paper is Laura Ashley, the raffia ribbon trim is from Rach. The brown flower is done with the retro punch and the creamy flower is a Prima and the buttons are from my button stash.

Apologies for the pic of the inside of the card, I don't think my camera liked the pale colour and was battling to focus (and it nearly went out of the window!!!) I stamped around the edges with a HOTP scroll.

Thanks for looking,
