Whiff of Joy Guardian Angel / Challenge Combo

I've done a triple this morning, three challenges with this card he he. I've used one of the new Guardian Angel stamps by Whiff of Joy and they are being released on Wednesday 3rd September, so keep yer eyes peeled next week girls lol. Elisabeth and Katharina you've hit the jackpot with the new stamps - I really can't pick a favourite.

I'm entering this card in A Spoonful of Sugar 3 different ribbons challenge, Dutch Dare card for a girl challenge and Sketch Saturday - another fantabulous sketch by Jo (I just love working with her sketches - each one works so well, thanks Jo!)

I have used one of the Guardian Angel stamps by Whiff of Joy which I've coloured with Distress Inks and Twinkling H2O's (again!) I have applied Stickles glitter to her wings for a bit of bling.
Mod DP (who says Blue and green should never be seen - love these papers!!)
Flowers (blue from Poppicrafts, green I just punched a scrap of green paper and ran over the back with a ball tool to give shape)
Brads are Papermania, spacers from stash, tag is that old Sizzix Bookplates Gelly-O again with a computer generated sentiment, and ribbons from Hobbycrafts

Sarah Kay challenge 9 - Purple and Green

Amanda set the challenge this week to use purple and green. I struggled with this as it's not my usual colours but loved the end result so will definitely be using this colour combo again. Thanks Amanda for making me think outside the box!! Please go take a look at the other fab DT cards.

I used the Sarah Kay Roses Garden image coloured with distress inks and Twinkling H2O's, the sentiment is a HOTP stamp from a QVC kit.
Papers are DCWV
Flowers are Prima

Whiff of Joy DT/Cute Card Thursday/Friday Sketchers

Oh my gosh!!! My new rubbah - The Guardian Angels and Oakley - arrived all the way from Switzerland today - I was jumping up and down so much I nearly caused an earthquake lol. I've run out of Ez Mount and rang around all the local craft shops to see who had some in stock and no-one did - shock, horror and hysteria!! I've ordered some from Joanna Sheen but it won't be here till next week some time. Umm no way am I waiting till then so I had to ink this little baby up with no mount lol. The lovley Rach has come to my rescue and dashed round to the post office to post me some to tide me over - thank you so much sweetie mwah xxxxx.

How seriously CUTE is this stamp - love it!!! I'm entering this card in two challenges, Cute Card Thursday In the Water and Friday Sketchers # 17

Image is by Whiff of Joy - not sure what his "posh" name is lol, but Katharina will have these little babies up on the website soon, so keep on checking! He's coloured with distress inks and Twinkling H2O's. The sentiment is one I did on my computer. I paper pieced the bath with a scrap of paper that I found lying on my desk that matched perfectly - don'tcha just love it when that happens lol.
Papers are DCWV Retro Stack
Ribbon is from Ribbon Oasis and Dainty Supplies
Card stock is Stampin Up! Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery
Zoomz are from Stamp Galaxy

Whiff of Joy - Sketches by {Tamara} and a little toot lol

Last month Tamara off Sketches by {Tamara} asked me if I would like to be a Guest Designer for her challenge blog. Umm it took me all of 5 seconds to say yes please lol. If you've not tried one of Tamara's sketches pop over and take a look.

I chose her Sketch #3 - an oldie but a goodie. Tamara's sketches are fab, they are clean and simple and let the stamp do the talking so when I started designing a card, I knew that the whopper of a stamp Charlotte and Sledge would be perfect for the card. It's the perfect size for a 7 x 5 card and looks good on an A5 card as well. I didn't think the card needed too many embellies (what!!! you say - she's eased up on the embellies, she must be poorly or mad!) but I think less is more with this stamp. Don't you just love that reindeer's cute little face!

I coloured Charlotte and Sledge from Whiff of Joy with distress inks and twinkling H2O's.
The sentiment is from Elzybells stamps (I love her sentiment stamps)
Paper is HOTP (from a QVC kit) as are the believe and joy stamps
The tiny tags are Sizzix Gelly-O bookrings die
The snowflakes are a Woodware punch
I think the ribbon is SU but can't remember, sorry (it's my age you know lol)

Charlie with his snowballs - Cutie Sunday challenge

I've been playing with my new rubbah this afternoon, did I say I love these stamps lol. I'm entering this one in the Cutie Sunday challenge - the sketch is fab!! I've tweaked it a bit and gone for snowflakes instead of scrolls in the top corner - not sure if Charlie would look good with scrolls lol. I think my camera is playing up as the colours are just not right - the "yellow" is actually an old gold IRL. I'll try and photograph it in the daylight tomorrow and see if I can get a closer colour match to the card.

I've used Charlie with Snowballs from Whiff of Joy coloured with Prismacolors and H2O's, sentiment is HOTP. Papers are Dovecraft Winter Wonderland, snowflakes are punched with Woodware punches and a Sizzix die as is the buckle. Ribbon is from Hobbycraft. Candy cane charm from my fab friend Karen.

Whiff of Joy Angel Charlotte does Papertake Weekly

Oooh I was so excited yesterday as my DT kit from the lovely Katharina arrived. The stamps are even better than I thought they would be and are such a "joy" to colour - in fact Charlotte practically coloured herself lol. I'm putting this into the Papertake Weekly challenge, A stitch in time.

I was hoping to get this posted this morning but have been decorating - eeeewwww! I HATE gloss paint (even more now that I had to waste time doing that instead of playing with my new rubbah!) Apologies for the quality of the photograph, for some reason this card has been the very devil to get a decent shot of. The sentiment is not smudged as is showing in the photo and the colours are not as rich as they are IRL, it's the bum photographer!!

Angel Charlotte stamp from Whiff of Joy coloured with Distress Inks and H2O's, SU sentiment
Paper - DCWV from last Christmas
Snowflakes are an assortment of Sizzix dies and Woodware punches.

I have also received this award from the lovely Cazz and Anne Marie thank you so much hunnies xx

I have to pass this on to 5 people so am passing it on to

Kim, Sandra, Chris, Sally and Rach

Friday Sketchers has a gorgeous sketch by Carole (I'll be using this lots I think), Dutch Dare is to make a get well card, Cute Card Thursday is to make a bright card (and I need my shades for this one lol), Whachadoin' Wednesday is to make a card with sparkle (check out them flowers lol) and Arty Girlz is to add shapes to your creation and I think this qualifies because of the different shapes on the matting and the sentiment tag.
